Water lily from ~Twixalicious's Japanese-style pond. I took this with her camera, too. Not any real preparation, but it came out well so I thought I would share. :D

I believe it is the deep-water lily "Odorata Nymphaea." If someone knows it's something else, please comment! I would love to know.

Taken with a Kodak EasyShare Z612, a pretty nice point-and-shoot. (If I do say so myself.) Has x12 optical zoom and image stabilization.

Awesome shot!

Its extremely difficult to identify species of plants (especial aesthetic plant species which encounter alot of forced interbreeding breeding). probably the safest thing to write would be Nymphaea sp..

But you are probably safe saying it is Nymphaea ornata, or some such variant of it.

 I love my camera, and this picture! Kinda like mine but more stable. Like I said, I CAN'T HOLD THE CAMERA STILL TO SAVE MY LIFE! hahaha

Oh, and my dad wants to ask you to do something else. LOL You might as well just live here and work for us. =p
:iconlamarble:
Haha, yeah. Sorta a different angle too...luckily your camera has image stabilizer. That should account for any shake. I don't think I was holding my hand super stable either...anyway. Oh boy. Haha. More work.
